Kenzie was in her "I'm done with men era". She had just gotten back from a trip to TN... and after lots of hiking, shopping at farmers markets with her Nana, and FaceTiming her friend Anna to convince her "move down here" with her... she was already itching to put her boots back on. Mike hadn't been to Cowtown Rodeo in many years, and needed a night out with his sister and her fiancé (at the time), Rob. They had both attended the Rodeo on August 31st of 2024...
