Our Elopement
Don't Save the Date! :)
When thinking about our wedding day we really wanted to plan a day that we would have loved to experience even without it being our wedding day. So with that in mind we decided to leave behind most of the traditional wedding things (besides the wedding dress and rings) and elope up in Alaska on hiking adventure.
On our wedding day we will be hiking Reed Lakes trail which is about a 9 mile hike that goes up through a mountain valley to two glacial lakes. It will just be the two of us, with a close friend as the officiant and a photographer to take some amazing pictures. For all those who are curious, yes, I do plan to hike in my wedding dress as long as the weather allows it.
