Jessica Floe

Maid of Honor

Floe is the most genuine person I know. She gives the BEST hugs, always knows what to say to pick me up, and doesn't let me get away with bullshit for a second--she is the truest friend I could ever have. I am absolutely a better person because of her. I love that she has to set 7 alarms to wake up in the morning, that when I text her I never know exactly what state or country she will be in, and that she is always up for an outdoor adventure of any sort. We have known one another since 7th grade, but our friendship didn't really blossom until college. This lady remembers all things significant and insignificant, never forgets to check in on King and me, prays for me, and absolutely always has my back.

Brandon Donovan

Best Man

Brandon (aka Diddy, Dizzle, Turk, Chris Kaman) has been my back-up point guard since our varsity middle school days. 15 years later and still riding my wave, some of my favorite adventures have been with this guy...hiking, biking, fishing the PNW and occasionally navigating the underground nightclubs of latin america. There's never a dull moment with Brandon's sunny disposition and boisterous personality. My brother from another mother, there's no one else I'd rather have as my best man.

Kelli Calvin

Bridesmaid

If you've never had a friend who can quote verbatim all the Harry Potter movies, Armageddon, and The Shawshank Redemption, you clearly haven't met Kelli. She uses the word, "Sike!" like it's 1995. She loves Chinese cuisine. She is a diehard, loyal friend and has been by my side since she asked to sit at my table on move in day at the WWU dining hall in 2007. She is the only friend who has been present for both my broken bones, and the only one who told me, "I was fine," both times. We've lived together for a total of nearly 5 years of our lives, so I know by now that she's a keeper. She is loyal, hilarious, and I can't imagine life without her!

Dylan Sorber

Groomsman

Dylan (aka Mr. Ritenour, Not a Real Doctor) is one of my oldest friends from high school. We started out dominating pee-wee football together and stayed close all throughout high school and college. The paragon of athleticism and academic excellence, Dylan has always been one of my role models (except when it comes to running half-marathons).

Jordan Tanguay

Bridesman

My brother girr—my sidekick since 1993. We share a love for all the divas and calling our mother "evil...", and love to go on dog park adventures with our pups and spend hours discussing politics and life in general. Jordan is one of the few people who understands the depths of my personality—the good and the bad. He didn't coin me "Hurricane MacKenzie" for no reason. We have countless memories shared—Beyoncé and Gaga concerts, Vegas, a childhood full of playwriting, dance, and performing, and plenty of sibling arguments! Jordan reminds me of what family means—he is someone who I can unabashedly be myself around, no matter what.

Joe Koch

Groomsman

Joseph (no appropriate nicknames) is one of my best friends from high school. We were roomates and fought fire through most of college. From our failed attempts at forming a band, to our adventures at Sasquatch, we got to know to know each other very well (maybe a little too well?) He's got a big personality and often sounds like he's yelling at you, but really he's just a big teddy bear that just needs some extra love.

Patty Estrada

Bridesmaid

Patty, my amiga! We knew it was true love when we nerded out at yearbook camp together. Yes, that’s a thing. I have so many memories with Patty, from volleyball and being #yearbooknerds in high school, to living it up at WWU, to figuring out adulting in Seattle. We always end up in the same places and I love it that way. She makes me laugh, always has a positive outlook on life, and is always up for a walk or a fun evening cooking dinner together! Also, she and King formed b.p.c. (brown person club) which makes her an integral part of our lives, now and forever.

Luke Helgeson

Groomsman

Luke (aka Mountain Man, Mountain Dwarf, Grumpy Old Man) is a friend and co-worker from my old lab at UW Biochemistry. When we first met, he told me he went to school at UofO, lived in Portland, and loved microbrews...needless to say it was a start of beautiful friendship filled with weekends of home-brewing, monthly buffet outings, and endless financial advice from Dave Ramsey books.

Kirstie Redding

Bridesmaid

My kween, my sis. I love Kiki’s vivacious personality! She is the most beautiful person inside and out. She is full of energy, sass, laughter and a tremendous amount of compassion. I love her for her tender heart and her feisty spirit. I admire how she is strong in her beliefs and convictions, and how she always stands up for what is right. We are always cracking up together and King and I love spending time with her and Eric. I am so lucky to have her not only as a sister in law but as a cherished friend and confidante.

Eric Redding

Groomsman

Eric (aka Daddy Jew) is my brother-in-law and has been a great addition to our family. He adds to the family dynamic by often being the centerpoint of jokes for his ridiculously conservative views. Despite his beliefs, he's got a big heart and is always one of the first people to offer help if you're in a bind. A little bit of a pushover, but considering who he's married to, it's hard to blame him.

Shayna Peters

Bridesmaid

Shayna and I have countless memories together from our years of playing sports together and the friendship that grew from it. Apart from our memories on the basketball and volleyball courts, we spent hours driving around Arlington belting Madonna, Christina Aguilera and Céline Dion at the top of our lungs. We attended every dance together, and were voted “Best Friends” in our high school yearbook. We had that inseparable sort of friendship that is so cherished growing up. In college we didn’t see each other as much, but the bond that was formed when we were young has grown even stronger throughout our adulthood.

Knight Yabut

Groomsman

Knight (aka Baneenee) is my little brother. Only a year apart and both being middle children, we clashed a lot in our younger years, but we eventually learned to get along (when Knight finally started to learn to be mature). He's a passionate father, and finance student on his way to a Master's program and internship in one of Portland's biggest accounting firms...hopefully he forgets about all those silly fights we had when he makes it big ;]

Emma Donovan

Bridesmaid

Emmacita, my dearest. Emma and I began on solid footing when I drove her illegally, only having my license for a few months. We toured WWU together and she was my only friend to embark to Bellingham with me in 2007. We were on the same dorm floor and lived together our senior year of college. We have had study parties and binge watched Say Yes to the Dress more times than I can count. Once, we dug ourselves out of the snowed in driveway in desperation to visit our boyfriends in Oregon. Also, King and I introduced her to his bestie Brandon, and they’re married now with a pretty cute kid. Friends forever!!

Dillon Huang

Groomsman

I met Dillon (aka Two-shot) on the mean courts of OSU basketball class where I ran circles around him. Despite the humiliation I would put him through whenever he tried guarding me, he still wanted to be my friend. This pretty much sums up Dillon. He is easily one of the kindest, most easy going, and fun human beings I have ever had the pleasure of befriending. Ridiculously charming, but don't let that fool you...he's also quite the troublemaker. (PS ask him how he got his nickname).
