We're Getting Married!

Justin and Mac matched on Hinge in March of 2023. Mac messaged him first, by saying something along the lines of "he's a runner, he's a track star." Makes her cringe to this day, but he fell for it, because he promptly messaged her back. The first time they met in person was about a week later. Mac was at Shenanigans Irish Grille with some friends, and she invited him to come hang out with them. She thought that was a safe way to meet someone on a dating app, because if they weren't connecting, she could leave with her friends! Justin and Mac have both said how nervous they were meeting each other for the first time. Mac remembers him walking through the door, wearing UofL track gear from head to toe. He sat with Mac and her friends, and they chatted for a while. He seemed to fit right in with her friends, so that was a green flag for Mac. The vibes were great, so when Mac's friends decided to leave, they stayed behind. They sat and talked until the bar shutdown at 2am. During their time at the bar, they saw a movie trailer on the TV for the Pope's Exorcist. Justin and Mac both talked about how much they enjoyed horror movies, and they decided that they would go see it. So, a few days later, they did just that! Their first official date was at the movie theater, seeing a horrifying scary movie. That would be the first of MANY movie dates.
