After having a crush on John since 4th grade, I finally had the nerve to reach out to him junior year of High School. We talked and got to know each other in a short amount of time and went on our first real date February 10th. Since then we've been inseparable and now here we are, 7 years later, about to get married!

We were on a vacation in OBX with my cousins, brother, and some other friends. We had planned to have a beach sunset picture day, which is very normal to plan in my family. The evening of the scheduled picture day, the boys in the house left before the girls to "go play frisbee" while the girls finished getting ready. My cousin drove us to the beach and as I crossed over the sand dunes there he was. John was standing in the middle of a rose petal heart, I was surprised and made my way over to join him in the heart. Some words were said and John got on one knee and asked me the big question, "Will you marry me?" Of course I said "Yes!" through some slight tears. It was a day I had been waiting to happen for quite awhile. Now, we can't wait to get married and celebrate with all our friends and family!
