What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is garden party formal. Think long dresses with lots of color. Our bridal party will be in rainbow pastels. Mackenzie and John request that you do not wear white or anything that could look white in photos (eg pale pinks, pale blues, butter yellow, etc). If you have any questions/concerns regarding attire, please reach out to John or Mackenzie.

Where can I stay?

Answer

The Wildwood Hotel is the closest hotel to the venue and offers many discounts! There is also the Holiday Inn Saint Louis West at Six Flags and the Comfort Inn - Pacific.

Can I bring an extra guest?

Answer

While we truly believe the more the merrier, our venue does have guest limits due to fire code. Please only bring and RSVP for those included on your invitation.

What are some things to do during our time in St. Louis?

Answer

There are so many fun things to do in The Lou! Feel free to explore and enjoy the Saint Louis Zoo *free*, the Missouri History Museum *free*, the wonders of Forest Park *free*, the Aquarium, a Cards game, and so much more.

What if I have mobility issues?

Answer

Silver Oaks is ADA compliant with an elevator, bathrooms on both floors, and wide doorways. The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) in front of the fireplace with plenty of seating and concrete walkways. Don't hesitate to reach out to Mackenzie or John if you have any concerns! We want everyone to have a safe and happy experience on our special day.

Are children allowed to attend?

While Mackenzie and John love little ones, they want the wedding to be a safe and peaceful space for everyone in attendance. If you have questions, please reach out to either the Bride or Groom.
