FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all RSVPs be due no later than February 1st, 2025 so we can get a final headcount for seating and catering.

Question

What happens if I RSVP yes and change my mind?

Answer

We’ll be sad to miss you, but we completely understand if plans change after RSVPs are submitted. Please let us know as soon as possible if you're unable to attend.

Question

What happens if I RSVP no and change my mind after RSVPs are due?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to our capacity and catering arrangements, we won’t be able to accommodate changes after the RSVP deadline. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. Tuxes and gowns are also welcomed. We kindly request no jeans and please refrain from wearing white.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:00pm. We will be taking photos in the property prior to ceremony so please don’t arrive before 3:30pm. We kindly request all guests to arrive and be seated by 3:50pm. If arriving later, there may not be an opportunity to reach your seat before the ceremony commences.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to us nearing our limit, we regret to inform you that we cannot accommodate additional guests (plus ones). The number of guests specified in your RSVP is the limit for attendees. For example your envelope will be addressed as “The X Household” or “Mr. & Mrs. X.” When you RSVP online, type your name and your household/significant other will pop up with you. *If you received an invite and are having trouble finding your name online please reach out to us as soon as possible.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore children, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Apart from our flower girls and ring bearer, we kindly request that no other children attend. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate you making prior accommodations.

Question

Can I take pictures during ceremony and reception?

Answer

Joel and I would love for during the ceremony everyone to enjoy this special moment and be fully present. We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. We have an amazing photographer who we love so much, I can assure y’all will love her just as much as we do!! We will gladly share ceremony photos once we receive them. As for the reception, please feel free to take as many photos and share them amongst us. We will have QR codes around the reception area for photo sharing. Thank you for understanding our “unplugged” ceremony.

Question

Will the venue be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors by the pond. In case of inclement weather, we will relocate to the barn, where the reception will take place.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot just outside the ceremony and reception area.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar until drinks run out or until the final call at 9:00 pm. Please have your ID on you to be served. The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you.
