we're getting married

After declining an introduction offered by Melissa, a mutual friend, all hope could have been lost. Melissa knew better! She covertly arranged for us to meet and thawed Mackenzie's cold feet after she agreed to go out. One date is all it took for her resistance to wane.

After a drive down the coast to Monterey, we settled into a cozy little B&B near the ocean. We spent the morning touring the shops and attempting, with occasional success, to stay warm and dry. We warmed up in the balcony hot tub at the Plaza Hotel before I popped the question in our private mineral bath overlooking the bay.
