When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We would love for you to RSVP as soon as you’re able, as it helps us tremendously with planning. Please be sure to submit your response no later than April 5. Thank you for helping us prepare to celebrate with you!

Can we bring children?

Answer

Absolutely! We’re excited for this to be a family-friendly celebration. Children are very welcome, and we’ll have a few small activities during the reception to help keep them happily engaged. We also can’t wait to see their best dance moves on the dance floor! For our younger guests, we will have a kid-friendly buffet featuring chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and french fries. We anticipate that children 12 and under will enjoy the kids’ buffet rather than the adult buffet.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. although we know it will take time for guests to find their way into the venue and take a seat. To ensure a smooth and uninterrupted start, we kindly ask guests to plan to arrive and be seated by that time. We anticipate the ceremony will begin shortly after, but by 2:30 p.m. Thank you for helping us keep the day running beautifully on time!

Is there parking near the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot immediately adjacent to the venue for your convenience. Additional parking is available nearby in surrounding business lots and along the street. If you’re able, we kindly encourage carpooling to help ensure that as many guests as possible can park close to the celebration.

What is the dress attire?

Answer

We kindly encourage guests to dress in semi-formal attire. For men, this could include button-down shirt with a jacket and chinos or a dress suit with jacket and slacks. For women, sundresses, party dresses, or formal dresses are all wonderful options. We ask that guests avoid casual wear such as jeans, shorts, and t-shirts. Our goal is to keep the celebration polished while still comfortable and fun for everyone. Our venue coordinator has shared the venue will be very cold at the start of the reception but will gradually warm up as individuals enter the space so we recommend bringing a light jacket, cardigan, or pullover for the start of the event.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at a covered pavilion. In the event of inclement weather, the sides of the pavilion can be enclosed for comfort—though we hope to keep them open to enjoy the fresh air and natural light. The reception will follow immediately indoors.

Can I take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

We have a professional photographer who will be capturing the ceremony and special moments throughout the day. To allow for them do their best work, we kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. You are however welcome to snap and share pictures during the reception. We would love to look back and see the day through your eyes!

Can you accommodate for food allergies?

Answer

Yes! We will have gluten-free and dairy-free options available at the reception. If you have any additional allergies or dietary needs, please let us know before the RSVP deadline so we can coordinate with our catering team. To do this, please update your RSVP on the website and answer the question regarding dietary restrictions. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the meal comfortably and safely.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We've secured a wedding block at the local Holiday Inn Express for our travelling attendees in need of overnight accommodations. If you have a need for accommodations, there are limited rooms in the block designated as accessible. Please book accommodations by April 9 to guarantee availability in the wedding block. Do you have any recommendations for things to do while in town?

Answer

Yes! The Lancaster and Hocking Hills area are chalk-full of fun things to do while you visit for our special day. We've listed a few of our recommended restaurants for those interested. If you are in town for an extra day, consider packing some hiking boots and exploring the nearby trails and state parks. We encourage you to explore the area and let us know about the fun things you find that we haven't listed. Please see the Things To Do section of the website for more information.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We have set up registries through both Amazon and Target. You can search either registry directly through their websites by searching our names or you can look through options listed on this website which syncs with both respective stores.
