We met on Hinge 2 years ago and talked for a few weeks before deciding to meet for a date. Mackenzie says she was just planning on making the best of the night and did not think too much of it. Jacob says, he was hoping to find a genuine connection and had hopes that it would go well. They met between Charleston and Savannah at a small winery and found 2 seats facing the river as the sun began to set. Both of them were feeling nervous and Jacob says that when Mackenzie mentioned this, he immediately relaxed and felt comfortable with her. This date marked the beginning of Jacob and Mackenzie traveling back and forth to see each other. Jacob says that he knew right away Mackenzie was special and different that anyone he had ever met before. For the next year, they took turns spending the weekend in Charleston and Savannah making the most of the time they had together. It did not take long for either person to realize they had met their person.
