(Hers) We met as college students working at Costco. I’ll never forget the day I saw him driving a forklift down the checkout aisle. I thought to myself, ‘Who knows maybe he’s the one.’ Something in me knew, so I asked him out to the beach. I didn’t realize it at first, but our friendship grew quickly into love. Gabe asked me to be his Valentine and we went on our first date in 2018. We officially became a package deal that year. Shortly after that we packed up and moved to Jersey City, where we would build a home and a life together. Fast forward, we both changed jobs, made new friends, moved again, traveled and got a dog! Enter Voodoo, our skinfant hairless Xolo. Together we enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Then Gabe decided it was time to seal the deal and turn the amazing years we’ve spent together into forever. He proposed on August 11th, 2024 at Exchange Place Pier in our home city on the most beautiful day of the year. It was the best day of my life so far, and we’re just getting started. Each day we continue to grow together and fall deeper in love. And I can’t wait to continue to do so as husband and wife. (His) We met working at Costco. She was in college at the time studying something nerdy and she had this hustle in her that I respected and admired. We were friends and she didn’t want anything to do with me romantically at first but eventually we went on a first date and that’s where it starts. Once I got to know her it was easy to like her and even easier to love her. She’s the funniest person I know, she’s smart, passionate, driven, kind, interesting, and the list goes on. The conversation is always good with her. Shortly after getting together we moved to Jersey CIty together and it’s been me and her ever since. I knew it was going to be her early on; It was always going to be her. I knew I wanted to marry her long before I even thought about what kind of ring I’d get. I’m excited to keep growing with her. I’m excited for everything that comes next because we get to do it together and because we get to do it together I know it’ll all be so beautiful.
