For shopping, restaurants, and movies, check out Fashion Island. They have everything from Neiman Marcus to Tesla, and a wonderful luxury movie theater, The Lot, with food, drinks, and reclining seats.
Crystal Cove State Beach Walk
Come for a beach walk at Crystal Cove State Park, then stop for breakfast or a drink at the Beachcomber Cafe right on the sand! If you feel like a milkshake, take the stairs up to Ruby's Shake Shack, where you can sip a malt while overlooking the best view in town.
Balboa Island
Come to Balboa Island and walk around the historic shops, eat a frozen chocolate-covered banana at Sugar n' Spice, and watch the boats sail through Newport Harbor. Take the ferry across the water and go on the Ferris Wheel at the Fun Zone!
The Quiet Woman
An institution since 1945, come to this CDM restaurant for happy hour from 4-6 or late night live music. Be sure to try the calamari and Fernando's favorite Quiet Woman salad!
Rose Bakery Cafe
The best breakfast and lunch place in town. Come for breakfast burritos and delicious fresh baked goods. If you like avocados, try Julie's favorite, the Lucia Burrito!
