House Or Rental
Your stay, Friday 9/13 - Sunday 9/15 is on us, no need to handle any accommodations outside of those days. We are staying at the Strut Oasis that includes (2) houses, (15) bedrooms, (9) bathrooms, (2) pools, a fire pit, a jacuzzi, hammocks, an outdoor BBQ, and a sand volleyball court (basically a good time). Everyone has a room assigned to them, your names will be on the bedroom doors :). We’ll provide food, snacks, and alcohol for the weekend. Friday will include a casual CA class IN N OUT (oh yes we did) and Saturday will be a more formal gathering following the ceremony! All other meals will be casual and eat as you go. We did rent an extra day for setup so if anyone from out of town needs a place to stay the evening of Thursday 9/12 or if anyone wants to get to the venue early on Friday 9/13 to maximize pool time, we’ll be there! We’re also working on late checkout Sunday 9/15. We’re excited to share in this special weekend with all of you!
Flight
For my out-of-town (Indiana specific) guests you can fly directly into Palm Springs (PSP), which is only 10-15 minutes from Indio, however those flights will have connections and can be a bit pricier. Another option is to fly into Ontario (ONT) which is roughly 1.5 hours from Palm Springs and will, most likely, have similar costs/connections as flying into Palm Springs (PSP). My suggestion is to fly into LAX Thursday evening or early Friday am and share a ride, as mentioned we will be at the Strut Oasis the evening of Thursday 9/12 if you need somewhere to stay! If you want to ride share please let us know and we will find out who will have room in their vehicle to accommodate you or you can choose to rent a car through Priceline or any other means you prefer (I recommend doing this ahead of time if you choose this route, reserving is best). As a note I would not recommend trying to drive to Palm Springs/Indio on a Friday after 12:00pm or you can hit some pretty heinous traffic.
Travel Note
Please be sure to pack clothes for HOT weather it can get above 100F most days in the desert. Other than pool time and the short ceremony, I’ll try to keep most day activities inside! I’d also bring a hat, plenty of sunscreen, beach towel, sunglasses and a bathing suit or two!
