M: I have a very specific incident that made me realize I loved Dave. Dave used to come over to hang out with me after Mason went to bed, and afterwards, he would always text me when he got home safe. So one night after he left, I never got a text saying he made it home. I tried not to read into it and figured he got busy, he would message me before he went to sleep, so I went to bed. The next morning I woke up for work to NO TEXT! And in classic Mackenzie form, I panicked and assumed the worst. There's no way this guy would just forget about me, things had been going great! So of course I assumed he got into an accident and died... I even pulled up news stations on my phone looking for a traffic accident in the area. All this time I worked myself up so much to the point of tears, how can I finally meet a guy that is wonderful, caring, and kind and now he's just gone! So now I have to call him... crying. He answers and is alive and well, he said he texted me so it must have just not went through, he even sent the screenshot of it. After calming me down and assuring me he was fine we hung up. And I thought, crap... I have feelings!! Within a couple days, I told him I loved him :)

D: There comes a time when we meet a special person and just get a feeling of butterflies and foreign happy feelings for them. You hear stories about people falling in love. You hear stories of people having great lives with one another. We date people and it doesn’t work out and you just figure well maybe love is not for me. Well there came a day where I actually found those feelings. I was always impressed by Mackenzie. She was always to me one of the people you think, I could never achieve a woman like that. One evening I went over to her house to hangout with her after Mason had gone to sleep. She was talking to me about a job she applied for. She had gotten it. In order for her to take this job she would have to move hours away from me. Wow was my thought, instant heaviness hit me. Pretty much hit home that I had some deep feelings for her. We were taking things slow but man, I’m actually going to lose this woman. I would have gone her direction, I wanted to make this work because I loved her. Of course her reaction was, you’ll be fine without me Dave. Haha- In the end I’m glad she didn’t take the job due to home reasons but that was the day I fell in love with her.
