Five years ago, we promised to choose each other. We didn’t know exactly what that would look like—only that love would lead the way. In five short years, life got loud, busy, and beautifully full. Six incredible boys taught us patience, teamwork, and what real joy feels like. Late nights and early mornings became normal. So did laughter, chaos, and caffeine. Somewhere between diapers, homework, sports gear, and “where is my shoe?”, we survived nursing school, landed a beautiful home, and managed to keep our wonderful (but terribly loud) boys alive! We built more than a marriage. We built a family. We built resilience. We learned that love isn’t just romance. It’s tag-teaming bedtime. It’s supporting big dreams while running on very little sleep. It’s choosing patience, laughter, and grace—especially when the house is loud and the day was long. Today isn’t about starting over. It’s about honoring what we’ve grown. Five years stronger. Five years wiser. Still choosing each other—again and again.
