I'm not sure I can make it ... is that ok?

Answer

Please know your presence at our celebration is an invitation, not an expectation or obligation. We recognize our wedding is a small, simple event at a busy time of year. We completely understand if it is not practical for you to attend. What matters to us is that you do what is best for you and your family! We will be live-streaming the ceremony via Zoom in an effort to make participation convenient and accessible to our friends and family from near and far. More details and the link to come.

Seriously, we can attend online?

Seriously, you can attend online. We're going to have some tech whiz livestream the whole thing through the interwebs (btw, if you're a tech whiz, hit us up). But you still have to wear pants. That's a dealbreaker.

Will the wedding ceremony be long?

Answer

Nope. So don't be late. We've found that the eating and drinking part of weddings is the most popular part, so we're leaning in to that.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Hot. So hot. Not as hot as July and August, but seriously, hot. And humid. Maybe rainy. Maybe.

What should I wear?

Answer

Wear anything that makes you feel cute, handsome, or comfortable. Beachy, trendy, sauve, chic. But it's not a tractor pull, so maybe not "anything." And if you are wondering whether that last comment was directed at you, it was. You're the one.

What's the best way to get around town?

Answer

Uber. Lyft. Those ridiculous electric scooters. Car rentals are available at the airport. If you are staying on or near Siesta Key, ZoomAround (833-966-6276) rents street legal golf carts with 4-6 seats. In addition, The Bay Runner (https://sarasotabayrunner.com/) is a free trolley service that runs between the Sarasota keys and Downtown.

I have dietary restrictions. Will there be anything I can eat?
