We met in Adrian, Michigan. Collin was in town visiting with his sister and friends and Mackenzie went to college at Siena Heights in Adrian. Mackenzie went out with her teammates to the bowling alley on a late Saturday night after a lacrosse game, while Collin went out with his sister and friends to that same bowling alley. Towards the end of the night Mackenzie mentioned to her friend and teammate Dani that there was a cute guy a couple lanes down. Mackenzie horrified and humiliated as Dani took it upon herself to go find him and introduce herself. She brought him back over to the lane Mackenzie was at. Mackenzie being stubborn, introduced herself and continued taking off her shoes while Collin was trying to talk to her. Finally they exchanged phone numbers and eventually met up for a couple of dates. About a year later we officially started dating.
