If your invitation indicates "family" then yes! We want our wedding to be as accessible and fun for our guests as possible. Therefore, it will be up to you on how much you would like to include your little one(s). There are babysitting services on the island (care.com) and other families are bringing children. If you would like to coordinate sitter's please don't hesitate to reach out to us. There is also a kid's menu for those children attending dinner. Lastly, there is a resort policy that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult due to the nature of the resort being on a marina. Please consider what works best for your family.
The San Juan Island Transit bus does travel to most major attractions and other lodging on the island as well as Roche Harbor Resort. However, the transit bus does not run past 6:30pm. Please note there is NO UBER/LYFT so we highly recommend either staying at the resort or renting a car.
Kindly RSVP online by May 15th, 2025
The ceremony begins at 4pm. Please arrive at least 10-15minutes before 4pm.
San Juan Island is serviced by the Washington State Ferries. The ferry ride is about 50 minutes departing from Anacortes, Washington arriving in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. Roche Harbor resort is about a 15 minute drive from the ferry terminal. We HIGHLY recommend making a reservation in advanced. One ferry ticket is good for all inter-island travel and your return travel - so feel free to island hop as part of your trip! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions when planning your trip.
