Travel Note
Unfortunately for us, Ohio State football is playing at home on the day of the wedding. Fortunately for us, our venue is on the other side of town from campus, so we do not expect it to be too much of an issue but it is something to be aware of. Please be prepared for extra traffic on the day of and book your lodging as soon as you can. If you are having trouble finding somewhere to stay, please reach out to Mackenzie (614-886-6149), we have several backup options we would be happy to share.
Hotel
For those guests traveling from out of town, there is no official block for the wedding but there are plenty of options for places to stay around Columbus. There are variety of chain hotels near the Columbus airport that are very affordable and about 10 minutes from the venue by car, these are a great option for those coming to Columbus only for Saturday night but they are not particularly conveniently located for other things to do in the Columbus area. There are also a lot of hotels in Downtown Columbus, these hotels tend to be more expensive but also more upscale and are in a fantastic location to explore Columbus for a day or two while still being about 10 minutes from the venue. Several guests, particularly member's of the Groom's family, will be staying at the Courtyard in Easton. This hotel is slightly farther from the venue but offers a lot of activities for those visiting for multiple days/nightes - see below for more details. Other than hotels, there are a variety of AirBnB's very close to the venue that we would recommend looking into, especially for larger groups. If you have any questions about where to stay, please feel free to call or text Mackenzie at 614-886-6149.
Hotel
This hotel is located in the Eason Shopping Center, with lots of shopping, activities, and restaurants just a short walk away. This is a great option for guests staying multiple days/nights but it is a bit further from the venue, about an 18 minute drive.
Rental Car
For those flying into Columbus, there a plenty of rental car options at the Columbus airport. The wedding venue is also located near Downtown Columbus so Uber (or other rideshare options) are plentily available and affordable so it is absolutely not required to rent a car to get around Columbus. Unfortunately public transportation in Columbus is not reliable and we would generally not recommend it.
