We're getting married!

Timing was not in MacKenzie or Brody’s favor when they first met. Nearly 5 years ago, they were introduced to each other through mutual friends, but could only exchange pleasantries as both of them were already in relationships with other people. They saw each other infrequently at BBQs and beer-drinking parties, but never shared more than a smirk or a greeting. Two years had passed and single Brody jumped at his chance by commenting on an outdated Instagram photo of MacKenzie–who had also finally joined the single market. He asked MacKenzie to come to Gardnerville for a BBQ. She rejected him. He asked Again. She rejected him. Timing was seemingly once again going against Brody and MacKenzie. Relentlessly, he asked her to see a movie with him. She accepted. MacKenzie was smitten and knew this man was special and would mean something to her. So naturally, time interfered again. The movie ended, and Brody was called to Alabama for work as a Wildland Firefighter. He was gone and practically unreachable for 28 days. MacKenzie, bravely, had the first look into her future with a man like Brody. They both remained steadfast and determined to not let timing interfere again and never looked back. The last five years and subsequent fire seasons, Brody and Mackenie have traveled, shared experiences with friends and family and had many off-roading adventures in their Jeep Wagoneer. In October of 2020, MacKenzie and her family along with Brody and his parents went to Moab for an off-roading, jeeping trip as they have done so many times before. Only this time, they took to the skies with a tour of the park from a helicopter. Cramped together, with family watching and the beautiful red-rock landscape surrounding them; Brody asked MacKenzie through the headset, “Hey, want to get married?” In typical Brody fashion. MacKenzie, stricken with emotions, said “YES!” The timing, finally right. Now we cant wait to celebrate with everyone of you!!
