FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by September 15th, 2023. If you cannot attend, we will miss you and would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity.

Question

When do I need to be at the ceremony venue?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 PM, so please arrive at the property no later than 2:10 PM to get through the entrance gates, park the car, and find your seats. Late parties will not be permitted entrance once the procession begins.

Question

How's parking?

Answer

For the Welcome Party on Friday, parking at the venue will be extremely limited. We highly recommend commuting in groups or using a ride-share service. On Saturday, there is a self-parking lot available at Toscana Country Club right by the ceremony site. We will have valet services at Jillian's for the reception. Please keep safety in mind and use a ride-share service so you can let your hair down.

Question

Can we take photos on a phone or camera?

Answer

We have hired a photographer to capture our day and will be asking for a fully unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from all electronics until the ceremony concludes.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones - however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We want you to be able to enjoy yourselves without worry, so we invite you to use our night to hire a sitter, have that extra glass of wine, and let your hair down. Children will be greeted with kisses and open arms at the Welcome Day party on Friday afternoon.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your envelope. If you are unsure, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one. We want everyone to share in the celebration and will ensure that you will be around familiar and friendly company. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Please dress comfortably for Friday's Welcome Party as we will be enjoying poolside tacos and margaritas, lawn games, and ping pong. Be sure to bring your sunglasses! The dress code for the wedding is Black Tie Optional. This means that tuxedos and floor-length gowns are suggested, but cocktail dresses and nice suits are welcome. No jeans, please! We do not have a color scheme, but we would love to see more organic, muted, and even metallic tones (think pewter, copper, silver, and gold), however, come in whatever color makes you feel your best!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather will be warm during the day but chilly in the evening. We will have heaters at the reception but I'm sure you'll keep plenty warm once the dancing begins and the alcohol is flowing.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in the Palm Desert or Indian Wells area to be as close to the festivities as possible. We have decided not to block rooms at any of the hotels since there are endless options for lodging. We have provided a few recommendations for hotels close to the venue(s) on the Travel page. Be sure to check out Airbnb and VRBO for rental options, too!

Question

Have more questions?

Answer

We will be quite busy on the actual event weekend, but please contact Mackenzie or Brian ahead of time and we will do our best to get you the answers you need. We're really looking forward to sharing our special day with you.
