Abby and I met when I was four years old in the middle of winter all bundled up in our snow gear. Ever since that day we have been like sisters. Abby and I have made so many great memories throughout the years we have been friends. My absolute favorite memory is when we got to go to Las Vegas to celebrate my 21st birthday! Abby is standing by my side because she will remind me to enjoy the moment and have a good time.

My favorite memory that I have with Erin is going to so many country concerts together. If there was a country concert Erin was always my go to friend whenever I wanted to go to any country concert. Erin is standing by my side because she is loyal and will help me with whatever I need.

Gabby and I met when we both started our first year of teaching together. Gabby and I became close trying to figure out our first year of teaching together. Gabby and I had so many interests in common and our first walks together after school made us become even closer! Gabby is standing by my side today because she will keep things lighthearted and fun and she will live it up on the dance floor.

Kara and I met when I was four years old in the middle of winter all bundled up in our snow gear. We grew closer when I started High School and she tried to help me with Math. My favorite memory with Kara is taking a trip to Nashville a few summers ago. Kara is standing by my side today because she will remind us to have responsible fun and make sure that we make it to the Church!

Cassie and I met when we were in elementary school. Cassie and I were roommates in college my junior and senior year. Cassie and I have always had a fun and adventurous friendship. Whenever I wanted to try something new she would always be the person I would go to. Cassie is standing by my side today because she will keep the party going.

Emily and I met when I was in elementary school but really became close in high school. Emily and I were roommates in college my junior year. Emily and I have had lots of fun times together but my all time favorite is getting Chick Fil A and binge watching survivor together during COVID times. Emily is standing by my side today because she will keep me calm and make sure that everything is perfect on the wedding day.

Though we haven’t known each other long, Nick and I bonded quickly over our common hobbies and the easy vibe he brings. I’m fortunate to have him next to me as we celebrate this next chapter together.

Nate and I met back in middle school on our travel basketball team and have been close ever since. From countless games on the court to living together in college, he’s been one of my longest and most loyal friends.

Josh and I met through travel basketball and have been sharing great memories ever since. He’s competitive, loyal, and the only guy I know who can make taking a 16-second buzzer beater look good.

One of the funniest guys I know — and he still can’t guard me on the basketball court. We became close during our college days at Kirkwood and Iowa State, building plenty of stories along the way. Just… maybe don’t ask him about the roof incident.
