Despite the uncertainty, we have chosen to move forward with our wedding as planned on September 12, 2020. Unfortunately, we cannot know when this pandemic will end and, because of that, wish to move forward toward the rest of our lives. Nevertheless, our wish is that each and every one of our guests make their decision to attend based on their own circumstances, health, and comfort. We love each and every one of you and know that you support us, and that is our greatest gift. For those who wish to attend virtually, we will be setting up a Zoom link in the coming weeks to watch our ceremony from the comfort of your own home. For those who will be attending in-person, we strongly encourage the use of masks throughout the day. We lovingly and politely request that everyone do their part to ensure that we all leave healthy and safe. We thank you all for your love and support during this time. God bless and stay safe.
We met in 2015 at a Mexican restaurant while watching a Kentucky Basketball game with mutual friends. We did not think much of it at the time, but as luck would have it, the same mutual friends invited both of us on the same spring break trip to Mexico our senior year. We hit it off even more on the trip and, when we got back, had our first date at The Local Taco, one of our favorite spots in Lexington. One of Bucky's best friends, Chris Cameron, made sure that the date was successful by hooking us up with free tacos and drinks. Despite it being the end of our senior year, we decided to give it a go. Through time and a lot of distance between California and Texas, our relationship flourished. After four years of long distance, we now both happily identify as Texans. We can't wait to celebrate our love with all of our beloved family and friends. See you there!
