Our wedding venue sits inside this beautiful nature preserve with walking trials, wetlands, quiet wooded areas, and even a disc golf course. If you arrive early, take a stroll and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You may see deer, sandhill cranes, wildflowers, butterflies, and birds! It's a special place to slow down and appreciate Michigan's natural beauty.
Lake Lansing Park South
If you'd prefer something out of the forest, this park offers lake views, sandy beaches, and picnic spots. Great for anyone wanting to enjoy the water, walk the shoreline, or even renting kayaks and paddleboards.
Sleepy Hollow State Park
About 20 minutes north is one of the region's most beautiful natural areas. The park surrounds Lake Ovid offering miles of scenic trails through forests, fields, and wetlands.
Grand Ledge Cliffs
About 25 minutes away you'll find one of the most unique natural features in mid-Michigan! The sandstone cliffs along the Grand River rise nearly 40 feet above the water creating beautiful views along the river. For adventurous guests, local rock climbers often scale the historic sandstone faces and it's a fun spot to watch even if you're just visiting.

Looking to walk a quaint downtown? DeWitt is peaceful with tree-lined streets and locally owned shops! Start with a cup of coffee from TIN CAN or the Dwelling, grab an old fashioned scoop of ice cream from Scoopy Doo's, or try a flight at Looking Glass Brewing Co. on your stroll.
