WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!!

Bryan and MacKenzie have known each other since the 5th grade. Their first memory together is of MacKenzie throwing half a worm at Bryan while he was playing on a playground structure before they even really knew each other. From there, they were in the same friend group in middle school and even "dated" throughout 8th grade. High school pulled them apart, but they became close again their senior year when another friend group was formed and has continued to stay close to this day. MacKenzie and Bryan began dating at the end of high school and have been together for the last four years!

Bryan and MacKenzie got engaged on Christmas Eve 2019 at his grandparent’s Christmas Eve gathering. Christmas pajamas are a tradition after dinner, but Bryan’s brother, Colby, suggested that they open them before dinner. Him and Bryan’s youngest brother, Travis, opened their pjs back to back. Bryan and MacKenzie then went back to back to open theirs. All of Bryan’s extended family were in the living room watching. MacKenzie pulled out her pajama shirt which read “Bride” across the front. She was very confused and turned around to see if Bryan’s shirt actually said “Husband”. When she turned around, Bryan was down on one knee and asked MacKenzie if she would marry him. She was shocked, especially after noticing her parents were there, too, but of course she said YES!
