It finally happened!

Our story starts at a party in Rolla during St. Pats weekend. Kevin was coming to visit a friend and watch a car race the next day. Mackenzie was dragged to the party by a friend. At the party, we got to talking and really bonded over making fun of the YouTube videos his friends were watching. Kevin invited Mackenzie to come to the race. The race was fun, and Kevin's friends played wingmen to make sure we had time to talk. At the end of the night, he asked for her number and that was it! Our first date turned into a day-long tour of Kansas City: getting Messenger Coffee, touring the Nelson, and eventually making our way to IKEA. By the end of the first few dates, we knew this was going to be special. The long dates and adventures continued and before we knew it here we were writing this little story. We look forward to you kicking off the next chapter alongside us when we say I do!

On a beautiful October Saturday, Kevin suggested going on an adventure to Kill Creek Park in De Soto, KS. His work had designed an observational tower that looked out over the prairie that we had yet to check out. But before the park, we stopped at a coffee shop for drinks and pastries (like our first date). When we got to the park, we climbed the stairs to the top. As we were looking out over the prairie, he asked her to be his adventure buddy and got down on one knee. She said yes!
