FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi- formal/Cocktail. We'd love for you to join us wearing something classy and comfortable! Florals and springs colors encouraged. Ladies' examples: Dress shoes, tee-length dresses, flowy dresses, jumpsuit, etc. Please avoid colors reserved the bride like whites and creams. Men's examples: Dress shoes, dress pants, button down shirt, perhaps a tie or a blazer, NO jeans or sweatpants. We want you looking your best in our photos!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, unless your children are listed on your invitation this is an adult only celebration. We encourage you to use this evening as date night!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, we're only including guests listed on each invitation. If you have been given a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation, (ex, ..."and guest"). We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're having an unplugged ceremony. Before we begin, we'll invite everyone to snap all the photos you'd like. Once the ceremony begins, we ask that phones be put on silent or turned off and put away so our amazing photographer can capture the moment. Plus, we'd rather see your smiling faces in our wedding photos than your phone.

Question

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. Our reception will be held indoors with plenty of activities outdoors as well. In the event of rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved indoors.

Question

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

The venue will be able to accommodate any gusts that need assistance getting to and from the ceremony space.

Question

Will our dogs be there?

Answer

OF COURSE! Our dogs are our children; we could not celebrate without them at least making an appearance. Plus, they have been practicing their dance moves for the dance floor.

Question

Betting on the wedding!

Answer

Alex and I are really big fans of sports betting and wanted to bring that to our wedding day, as a fun activity for our guests. We will be using the betting on the wedding app. To play along follow the link listed to join under Irwin Wedding, it's $5 to play. Winner takes the pot multiple winners will split the pot. There will be QR codes around the venue to join there as well. We hope you have as much fun with this activity as we so watching sporting events. https://bettingonthewedding.app.link/r3IckuV912b
