Puttshack
Sam loves minigolf and we enjoy going to Puttshack for their unique courses. This is an indoor facility with four different courses featuring high-tech moving obstacles and themed holes. The food and drinks are excellent here as well.
Villa Olivia
MacKayla enjoys snowboarding, and for other fans of winter sports Villa Olivia is conveniently located close to our venue. They offer skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing.
Woodfield Mall
This is one of our favorite spots to go shopping! Woodfield mall has wide variety of stores as well as escape rooms, a comedy club, theater, and restaurants. It's a great spot to spend the day out of the cold.
Sixty to Escape - Escape Rooms
This is a newer addition to Woodfield Mall and has been on our list of places to check out for a while! Sixty to Escape has escape room games with different themes and difficulty levels.
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
Medieval Times is great for a fun night out. Featuring a four course dinner and tournament of jousting, swordsmanship, and hand-to-hand combat set in medieval Spain.
Axeplosion Axe Throwing Lounge
We both enjoy axe throwing and went here for one of our first few dates!
Zanies Comedy Club
This comedy club is a great spot for a fun night out.
Fashion Outlets of Chicago
A great spot for fans of outlet shopping. This mall has lots of stores and rotating public art exhibitions.
Volo Museum & Antique Malls
We frequently come here to browse the antique mall, it is HUGE and has lots of cool finds. The auto museum is also a very popular attraction in our area and features classic cars and cars from movies.
Copper Fiddle Distillery
For fans of bourbon and gin, this local distillery is a great place to check out. They offer tours and tastings of their drinks and have live music on certain nights.
Kuma's Corner Schaumburg
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area! It's a heavy metal themed restaurant with excellent burgers, signature mac 'n cheeses, and a variety of beers.
BBQ'd Productions Bar & Grill
This is our favorite BBQ place in the area! They have great meats and sides and a variety of sauces to try.
Shakou Sushi
This is another one of our favorite restaurants in the area, they have excellent sushi with unique signature rolls.
Texas de Brazil
This is an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse located in Woodfield mall. Sides are served buffet style, and waiters will come around with different cuts of meat.
Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe
This is an excellent spot for brunch and we go here frequently for their Belgian waffles.
