What is the airport ferry? I've never been to Ketchikan

Answer

You have to take a short 5 minute ferry ride from the airport across the channel to Ketchikan. if you are renting a car they can help you with directions. Schedule The M.V. Ken Eichner 2 leaves the Ketchikan side of the Tongass Narrows on the quarter hours and the airport side on the hour and half hour every day. The first run of the day leaves the Ketchikan side at 6:15 am and the last run of the day leaves the airport side at 9:30 pm. Additional Seasonal Ferry Service: From May 28th until the end of August the M.V. Oral Freeman will provide additional ferry service running Monday - Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Fares Passenger Fares One-Way Age 12 and Older $6.00 6 to 11 $3.00 5 and Under Free

Transportation to the wedding location?

For Locals: Please meet at Settler’s Cove Picnic area at 1:15pm. We will be gathering on the beach in front of the picnic pavilion for a 1:30 Ceremony. We are only allowed 10 vehicles so we will have vans to transport you down if parking at the end of the road. After, please join us at 4pm for cocktail hour at the North Tongass Community Center for the reception. If you need directions or assistance, please contact either of us. Please let us know if you will make it! For Out of Towners: Please meet at CapeFox Lodge (800 Venetia Avenue) at 12:15pm. We will have transportation to take you to Settler’s Cove. The transportation back will take you to North Tongass Community Center (84 Sunset Drive) (approx. 6 miles north of town) for the reception. We do not have Uber but will give the Cab companies a heads-up that people will be needing rides back at the end of the evening. Please let us know if you will make it!
