We met the old fashioned way- on the internet (lol)! When Matt came up for a visit to NYC in fall of 2023 for the US Open and had a few too many honey deuces, he had just enough liquid courage to text Mackenzie. Mackenzie was on a bad date and looking for any excuse to leave- so this text came right on time. They met up at Due West in the West Village and closed the place down. A month later, Matt moved from Charlotte to NYC for work and the rest is history. Their shared love of UNC basketball, yoga, concerts, and the Dallas Cowboys made this a match made in heaven. Mack & Matt are best friends and do everything together- from traveling the world to playing The New York Times games before bed each night. We are so excited to spend our lives together and looking forward to celebrating with all of our favorite people on this special day.
