Anyone wishing to camp on-site in a tent or RV is welcome regardless of what we said on your invitation! Just let Mack or Laura know. You can camp for one night or two. The cottages, however are a minimum of two nights. There is a nice building with plumbing next to the tent sites, so toilets, hot water, mirrors, and showers!
Think semi-formal! Wear something that makes you feel fabulous but fits comfortably. The ceremony will be outdoors next to the lake, followed by an outdoor reception under a covered tent.
The ceremony and reception will be on loose gravel. There will be a shelf at the entrance where you can tuck in your comfortable shoes to switch into later if you choose. This is advised, as Mack will likely challenge you to a dance off.
If our stars don't align, we're very sorry to hear and you will be missed! Please let us know ASAP if you aren't able to attend. Giving us advanced notice will help us tremendously with sorting everyone's accommodations.
Please plan to arrive by 3:30 PM so we can start the celebration promptly and make sure you don’t miss a moment of the fun!
We've made the difficult decision to make this a child free event. We apologize to the parents for any additional stress this may cause. We hope it can be a night out where you can let your hair down and stay up past bedtime.
The last ten minutes of the drive to the venue is on a gravel road, tread slowly! Drive right past the main entrance of the venue and there is a parking lot on the left (we will put up signs). Then kindly walk down to the main lodge. If you are staying onsite, drive through the main entrance and check in at the main lodge.
