In the midst of a pandemic, Kendra decided she was ready to start dating after being single for the better part of 7 years. Mack was living his best life as a single father and bachelor. While browsing the dating apps, Kendra came across a handsome black man in gray sweatpants. So she reached out. Mack was hesitant because of their age difference but her smile was mesmerizing. After a week of talking and texting they went on their first date at the Sawmill Market. She took one look at that 6'5 man and fell in love immediately. He was slightly nervous but bubbling with confidence. They walked the market holding hands and talking for hours. He knew at that moment he would marry her. She knew he was the man she had prayed for. The rest is history!
After months of courting, wooing and getting to know each other, Mack realized that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Kendra. She is his soulmate. He knew that she was everything that he ever wanted in a woman, wife, partner and best freind. After deep prayer and fasting it was time. He talked with her mother and asked for her hand in marriage. After recieving Beverly's blessing, Mack starting making plans to propose. He looked at 20 - 30 rings and conslulted friends and family to pick the pefect ring for her. On August 8th 2021 Mack took Kendra and the children to a baseball game as a distraction. Unbeknownst to her, Mack had her close friends and family at the house decorating with flowers and candles. They left the game and Mack flew back the house to beat Kendra. When Kendra got to the house Mack was in the back yard on one knee with the ring in hand. He gave a heart warming speech and asked Kendra to be his wife. She said "What took you so long?" The rest is history.
