Question

Where is the best location to stay in order to be close to all the events?

Answer

We recommend booking a hotel room close to Downtown Raleigh. The venue and after party are both very close to downtown, but unfortunately, they are not within walking distance to each other or downtown.

Can I bring my children to the reception?

Answer

As much as we would love to see all of our friend's and family's children, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate extra guests, and there is a strict limit on occupants at the venue.

Can I bring my dog to the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, there are no dogs allowed inside the venue.

Can I park at the reception venue?

Answer

Yes, you can, but parking is limited so Valet Parking will be available. We recommend Uber if you are planning on going from the venue to the after party and want to enjoy special celebration beverages without having to worry about driving.

Will there be a wedding ceremony or is this only a reception party?

Answer

The short answer is, this only a party! Everyone is invited to the reception at the Whitaker and Atlantic, where there will be food, dessert, and dancing. The long answer is, we are having a very small, family oriented wedding ceremony earlier in the day and we will be coming to the venue from Umstead State Park. We wish we could have everyone there, but decided to keep the ceremony small and intimate for our comfort. But we thank everyone for their understanding.

The wedding invitations did not include food preferences. Why not?

Answer

We will be serving a full dinner buffet, in which there are several different food options, so there should be something for everyone. If you are concerned about anaphylactic reactions to certain foods, please email us separately.

I didn't get a plus one on my invitation but I would like one.

Answer

If you did not receive a plus one on your invitation, but would like to bring a guest, just email us and let us know. We would be happy to accommodate you if you we have extra seats available.

Answer

Yes! We have a link to our Zola Registry, through this site. We are also registered for just a few items at West Elm. Check out their website and search for our names to find it.
