Zach and Mack started dating in August of 2017 when they were both 16 years old. What started as a typical high school relationship somehow stuck around. They went to junior and senior prom together, spent plenty of time hanging out with friends, and managed to survive all the ups and downs of high school side by side. Their relationship continued through college—even while living in different places. Mack was in Wisconsin and Zach was in the Twin Cities, which meant lots of time spent driving back and forth and counting down the days until the next visit. After graduating, they started their own little family by adopting their dog, George, who quickly became the most spoiled member of the household. About a year later, they added their cat, O’Malley, who spends most of his time causing mild chaos and reminding everyone that he runs the house. Today they live together in Dundas, Minnesota. After nearly nine years together, Zach got down on one knee in Lake City, Minnesota and asked the question everyone already knew the answer to. Mack said yes! They’re so excited to celebrate with family and friends as they officially bring together the Glassing and Marvin families—with George and O’Malley included, of course.
