. . . Begins with our high school bible study group! It was the summer after sophomore year, during a post Bible Study pool party, that we met for the first time. I (Macie) had missed Bible study that night due to my work schedule, but I was able to meet up with everyone afterwards for the pool party. I was quite upset that night because I loved our Bible Study discussions, I learned so much from them. So of course this was the night John was made aware that “Jaimo’s little sister” was there at the pool! After confidently introducing himself to me he knew, despite my attitude, that he was going to marry me one day! And hey, it was only 7 short years later that I came to the same conclusion, that I was going to marry him one day! So now here we are, 9 years later, getting married just as we BOTH knew would happen one day!
