We're getting married!

We met in February 2017, after a tornado went through our hometown of Ottawa, Il. At the time of the tornado I was working at a local grocery store and Clay just so happened to live across the street. When the tornado sirens finally stopped, my coworkers and I came out to see the damage. It was then that we realized that the cart corral from the store had flown into Clays house. Clay and his groomsman Taylor carried the corral back to the store. Fast forward to the days following the tornado, I had just gotten my EMT license and had applied for a job at Peru Ambulance. Little did I know that Clay was also an EMT and working there. The rest is history. -Macie
