Our Story

Maci and Zach’s story began through their small-town roots and nearby hometowns, which led them to meet at a highschool football game! Despite their Lawson vs. East Buch rivalry, Zach officially won Maci over by inviting her to the Chiefs AFC Championship game in 2020—making it their first official date. After Zach left for Mizzou and Maci joined a year later, they reconnected at the end of her freshman year, and the rest is history. Together, they got to spend the most memorable years together in college—cheering on Mizzou athletics, attending eachothers sorority and fraternity events, growing in faith through their student ministry & even serving on a mission trip to Jamaica together. During Maci’s senior year, Zach had been secretly planning to propose. He asked her to marry him, followed by a surprise celebration with family & friends. They got engaged on April 18, 2025! God has been so evident in their love story, and they are excited for all He has in store for their future.
