Hotel
We have had a few friends stay here in the past, and all of them have told us how nice the stays have been. I don’t believe it has a whole lot of extra amenities, but it is one block off the main street with restaurants, health food store, bars, and near the free shuttle that runs a circuit around town.
Hotel
This hotel was completely renovated in 2024, and is the most historic hotel in Seward. Also about a block away from main street, this hotel has a lot of character. It has a great little hotel bistro attached if you’re looking for a bite to eat, as well.
Hotel
This hotel tends to be on the higher end of the hotels (alongside its sister hotel, the Gateway) and overlooks the Seward small boat harbor and boardwalk. There are several restaurants (Ray’s, Chinooks, the Breeze Inn, Tidewater Taphouse) within close walking distance. They are also connected with Major Marine Tours, so if a Kenai Fjords wildlife tour piques your interest, this is where they pick up daily. **currently says sold out, recommended to check in with the hotel directly.**
Hotel
The sister hotel to the Harbor 360. Was completed in about 2022, so a very new hotel to the community. Located about a block from the harbor, and a very easy walk around. **currently says sold out, recommended to check in with the hotel directly.**
Hotel
One of the oldest hotels in Seward, the Breeze Inn is a locals’ favorite (especially for the attached restaurant-bar with the million dollar view from the bar to the harbor… a place very special to T and I). It is located across the street from the harbor, and where you will most likely make friends with Sewardites during your stay.
Travel Note
During the summer, there are some options for public transport around town. The Seward Shuttle does a 30-minute loop around town that covers downtown, the harbor, and all the way up to Safeway. The Windsong Lodge has a free shuttle for its patrons of the hotel and restaurant, also on a 30-minute loop. We do have some limited cab services, but in the past year, these services have become more inconsistent. We are friends with two cab drivers, so if cab rides are needed, we can try to plan some trips ahead of time. Walking around town is also really easy, with about a 20-minute walk between downtown and the harbor.
