Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

The mission of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is to welcome all to celebrate the American spirit in a setting that unites the power of art with the beauty of nature. Crystal Bridges takes its name from a nearby natural spring and the bridge construction incorporated in the building, designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie.

The Momentary

If contemporary art is your style, then check out The Momentary. Formerly a 63,000-square-foot cheese factory, this massive art, exhibition, and festival site opened in February 2020. It is a sister site of Crystal Bridges dedicated to visual, performing, and culinary arts.

The Walmart Museum, Sam Walton’s original store, is filled with exhibits that tell the story of his life and the 10 rules he followed to build his business. Visitors can see Sam’s office, hermetically sealed to preserve it as it was the day Sam passed away.
