FAQs

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony may be outdoors in a partially enclosed barn next to the waterfall. In the event weather is not ideal for an outdoor ceremony, it will take place inside in their chapel. The cocktail hour and reception will both take place indoors.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Kings Mills has a large parking lot to accommodate all our guests. You are also able to leave your car overnight in their lot if needed!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please use the RSVP tab above and search your name to start your response. If you have any problems with the completing it online, please reach out to us for help!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire: We suggest men wear a suit or dress shirt with a tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we're only inviting our closest loved ones. If "and guest" or your plus-one's name is written on your wedding invitation, you can bring someone. As for children, we prefer to keep the event adults only with the exception being our beautiful flower girl, who will be leaving before the party kicks off after dinner!

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Kings Mills does offer separate meals for any dietary restrictions, such as gluten free or vegan options. Please indicate this request on the designated section of your digital RSVP.

Question

Who did your wonderful engagement photo shoot?

Answer

We absolutely love our wedding photographer, Meghan Luckenbill! Having seen her in action in two other weddings, we were so excited to be able to work with her for ours! Please consider her if anyone you know is in the market and feel free to grab her during the reception to capture any exciting moments! www.meghanluckenbillphotography.com
