Morgan and Anna met in middle school in 2007. Morgan claims to have had a crush on Anna back then. Anna confirms she did not share that same feeling at the time. While their different friend groups continued to cross paths over the years, at parties and other totally normal high school gatherings, they really took different journeys once they turned 18. Morgan went to trade school in Missouri to become the LEAD welder that he is today and Anna went south to Ole Miss, for a degree that would become irrelevant in her career. Later in life, after both returning to St. Louis, and once again both single, their paths began to cross again. Some casual group outings, a concert here or there, and the occasional brunch, Anna and Morgan maintained a pleasant friendship. Morgan even reached out to Anna to ask her on a date, but (allegedly) broke his foot before they could do it! Their roommates at the time were also close friends, and one day invited both Morgan and Anna to enjoy some bottomless mimosas on a Saturday morning and the rest was, as they say, history. By the end of the day, they were holding hands and Anna was speaking to Morgan in Czech (Anna doesn't know Czech). But this impressed him enough to ask her out for real this time. Now, over 5 years later, they have moved to Colorado, bought a camper and continue to be each other's best friend. They adventure everywhere together and have started a life they are proud of. Unless Morgan breaks his foot again, there's no slowing these two down.
