We’re getting married!

Kenneth and Janet met when Janet started as the Lead Host at an Asheville restaurant in August 2022 where Kenneth worked as a line cook. Once Janet found out Kenneth was in recovery she pursued Kenneth - kinda. She told every single person she worked with at the restaurant, including the managers, that she had a crush on Kenneth knowing at least one person would tell him. She would later find out her crush wasn’t interesting enough gossip in the eyes of her coworkers, because nobody told Kenneth he had an admirer. Kenneth made his move by asking Janet to a NA meeting and Janet knew Kenneth liked her too when he made an avocado rose as a post-breakfast snack. Janet inadvertently made Kenneth very nervous, leading Kenneth to flee after meetings instead of talking to her. Finally, Janet had had enough. After he fled their third meeting, Janet scolded Kenneth via text for leaving her no choice but to resort to looking up his number on HotSchedules. Janet and Kenneth quickly fell in love and have been each other’s biggest fans ever since.
