She is a very dear friend, and Macayla couldn’t imagine this day without her.

After high school, Christian went off to college while Brandon started his career in welding, but their friendship never skipped a beat. As adults, they still spend time together hunting, fishing, and working in the blue collar trades they both take pride in. Ryan has always been more than just a brother, he’s also been a lifelong friend, and Brandon is proud to have him standing beside him as a groomsman.

Macayla met Cara while working at a coastal restaurant during a season of life when she was discovering what she wanted to pursue as a career. What started as coworkers quickly turned into a friendship built on laughter, Cara’s quick wit, and many meaningful conversations. Even after leaving the restaurant, they have stayed in touch and continued the journey of life as friends. Macayla truly values their friendship and is so grateful to have Cara standing beside her as a bridesmaid.

Brandon and Jake first met in high school, where they were more acquaintances than close friends at the time. It wasn’t until after graduation that their friendship really began to grow. Brandon and Josh met a few years ago when they started working together, and it didn’t take long for them to become close friends. They spend plenty of time joking around, but their friendship has also been built on supporting each other through life’s ups and downs. During a difficult season after the passing of Brandon’s stepdad, Josh invited Brandon and Macayla to his church. That invitation helped spark the rediscovery of their faith, something they will always be grateful for. Brandon is proud to have Josh standing beside him as a groomsman.

Kimber is Macayla’s niece and Brandon’s brother’s daughter. She also happens to believe that Macayla is her favorite aunt, which Macayla fully agrees with. Roman is Macayla’s youngest brother and, according to him, Macayla is his favorite sibling. At 13 years old, Macayla still likes to refer to him as her “baby brother,” which he may or may not appreciate. Of course, there was no way big sister was going to have her wedding day without him standing up there with them. Macayla and Brandon are so happy to have her little brother as a Junior Groomsman on this special day.
