I compared prices through Orbitz back in August....and just now, 11/24/2017....not much has changed yet for a roundtrip with 1 or 2 stops from Greenville, SC to Honolulu, Hawaii $990 up to $1200 per person. **UPDATE** AS OF 12/20/2017 FLIGHT COST AVERAGE DOWN TO $790 (roundtrip/pp)

I did a quick comparison of the big named companies--Enterprise, Hertz, Alamo...There were quite a few locally owned places with high reviews also...Most were very close in base prices, and all had the "additional fees and taxes"...The following prices are from enterprise.... Compact/Economy: $35-40/day -- $250-260/wk (fees/taxes on weekly rental $115-120) Midsize/Standard: $40-45/day -- $270-280/wk (fees/taxes on weekly rental $122-126) Fullsize/Luxury: $45-60/day -- $290-310/wk (fees/taxes on weekly rental $130-135) Convertible: $50/day -- $340/wk (fees/taxes on weekly rental $138) Jeep Wrangler: $115/day -- $800/wk (fees/taxes on weekly rental $225)
