Centennial Lakes Park

Centennial Lakes Park

We live on the path that connects to Centennial Lakes Park and visit daily. We recommend enjoying a scenic walk, stopping for a drink at Pinstripes or Tavern 23, and then playing a round of mini golf.

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

3675 Arboretum Drive, Chaska, MN 55318
, (612) 624-2200

Ran by the University of Minnesota (where both Tori and Mac went to school!), The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a 1,200-acre horticultural garden and arboretum with seasonal art displays. Make sure to buy tickets in advance. After visiting the arboretum, head down the street to the University of Minnesota Apple House for pumpkins, apples, apple cider, gourmet food items, and more!

Split Rock Lighthouse

Split Rock Lighthouse

3713 Split Rock Lighthouse Road, Two Harbors, MN 55616
, (218) 226-6372

If you’re visiting from out of town and are able to extend your trip, we highly recommend making it up the North Shore. Split Rock Lighthouse State Park is a beautiful park with great hiking trails that we camp at every year. We recommend stopping in Duluth to have a beer at Canal Park Brewing on the way. Other spots worth hitting on the North Shore include the Black Sand Beach, Palisade Head, and Tettegouche State Park. If you stay the night, we recommend camping or staying at Cove Point Lodge. Make sure to get breakfast the next day at Rustic Inn Cafe.
