Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Weather forecasters in Wester Ross get all of the symbols and put them up for everyday. We've had rain, sun, sleet, snow, hail and everything in between in the save of a few hours. IF we are lucky it will be clear skies, sunshine and snow, and if we are really lucky it will be bleak and blowing a hooley to keep the southerners away. Make sure your stilettos have a vibram sole and bring plenty of layers, wet weather things and a sunny outlook. PS. there isn't a dress code and being comfortable is important, bring a jumper and a coat and a woolly hat, and make sure your fascinator has a chin strap.

Question

Gifts

Answer

You making the effort to join us on our wedding day is more than enough of a wedding present. If you would like to give us a gift then we ask you to make a donation to a charity of your choice. Alternatively a contribution to our honeymoon would be really kind.

Question

Things to do

Answer

Just ask us for ideas, but there are lots of things to do and see in the area, some more accessible than others. There are amazing walks and gorgeous scenery. But remember this is off season (our favourite time because it is even quieter) and the hotel is reopening for our wedding weekend, so amenities are few and far between...there is a Tesco, some cafes, shops and restaurants. Bring walking boots, wellies and swimming stuff if you are brave and your sense of adventure.
