We recommend flying into either Houston Hobby (HOU) or George Bush Intercontinental (IAH). Both airports are about 45–75 minutes from our wedding events depending on traffic.

Traditional Indian attire is encouraged but not required. The Joint Haldi is a fun and joyful ceremony where turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom as a symbol of blessings, love, and good fortune. Expect a vibrant, colorful atmosphere filled with laughter, music, and celebration!

Our Welcome Party is our fun twist on a traditional Sangeet! Instead of a formal Sangeet night, we’re hosting a Texas-style celebration to kick off the wedding weekend with great food, drinks, music, dancing, and plenty of Southern charm. Guests can enjoy a relaxed, festive atmosphere featuring country-western vibes, henna (mehndi), and lots of time to mingle before the big day. Think boots, glam, good music, and a true Texas welcome!

The festivities typically begin with the Baraat — the groom’s lively procession filled with music, dancing, and lots of energy as he makes his way to the ceremony. Guests are encouraged to join in the fun and celebrate along the way! The ceremony itself includes meaningful rituals, prayers, and traditions that symbolize love, unity, and the joining of two families. You’ll see beautiful ceremonial attire, floral décor, and customs that have been passed down through generations. The ceremony may be longer than a traditional Western wedding, but each moment carries special meaning and significance.

Black Tie / Indian Formal Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or formal dark suits with ties or bow ties. For Ladies - formal gowns, sarees, lehengas, sherwanis, and other formal Indian attire are all welcome. We kindly ask guests to dress for an elegant evening celebration.
