What's planned for the weekend?

Answer

Apart from the wedding on Friday, we are hoping to see you for the performance on Saturday night! More details have been added to the schedule page. We will be at the Schoolyard Beer Garden from 4 until about 6:30, and Town Hall Collaborative for the show from 7 pm onward. If you're getting into town earlier on Thursday, we are planning to hang at the Art Hotel bar - Fire Restaurant and Lounge - in the evening (around 6 pm) if you'd like to stop by and meet us for a drink.

What's the best way to get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Balistreri Winery is a bit north of the city. We will have a shuttle service between the Art Hotel and the winery on Friday, departing from the hotel at 5:15 pm (~15-20 minute ride). Parking is plentiful at the winery. Ubers and Lyfts should be easy to access as well.

What should I do if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

We have shared all allergies listed in the RSVPs with the wedding venue, and have planned a nut-free menu. Please find a staff member or wedding coordinator if you have any questions during food service!

What should we wear?

Answer

We've added some attire suggestions to the events under the schedule. Totally optional! For the wedding on Friday night - feel free to join in our "sunshine and stardust" theme, inspired by our love for music, rock & roll, and all things bright, bold, and expressive. We invite you to embrace the theme by wearing vibrant colors, florals, shimmer, statement pieces, or that thing in your closet that you've been trying to find the right occasion to wear. Anything that makes you feel fabulous will fit right in! That said, this is entirely optional. Please don't feel any pressure to buy something new or outside your comfort zone. Your presence is what matters most. If you'd like to lean into the theme, have fun with it in whatever way feels natural to you. We'll also have a selection of fun accessories and flair available at the celebration - so if you'd rather keep your outfit simple, you can join in the spirit with a little extra sparkle when you arrive! For Saturday night - it's casual - feel free to wear something that speaks to your love of music. Wear a shirt of your favorite band or musical artist, or something else that speaks to you. Costume wigs or accessories encouraged!

What's the best way to get to the show on Saturday?

The Town Hall Collaborative venue is a little over one mile from the Art Hotel. It's a 5 minute drive in an Uber or Lyft, and not a bad walk if it's nice out! Many of us will be traveling over together from the Schoolyard Beer Garden.

Any advice for my first time in Denver?

Answer

Denver really is a mile high, which means the air is thinner and drier. Make sure to drink lots of water before and after you arrive and wear sunscreen! We recommend taking the train downtown from the airport (see the Travel section for specific recommendations). You shouldn't need to rent a car unless you want to get outside of town. The area around the Art Hotel is very walkable. We've updated the "Things to Do" page with our favorite Denver spots. We love talking about our city, so feel free to reach out!
