We took these photos at Graveyard Fields, a beautiful hiking spot off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Our photographer, Sally Gray, is an old friend of Mac's from college years! And she's incredible.

Mac designed their ring! The center stone is a pentagon star-cut rhodolite (a variety of garnet) and was faceted by their paternal grandfather, Dr. Smith. The flanking stones are tanzanites.

Yes, Mac is still going to have very colorful hair for the wedding. ;)

We met through dancing and haven't ever stopped!

As mentioned, Sal is incredible. Golden hour glow!!

When asked what sort of wedding he'd like, Andy immediately answered "outdoors in Appalachia in the fall." We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! And in the most beautiful season, too.

One of the first photos of us contra dancing at River Falls Lodge, circa 2011!

Clearly, we've always had a great dance connection.

Our contra habit is still going strong! We make it out to the Old Farmer's Ball at Warren Wilson College about once a month.
