We met 3 years ago and knew from our first date that we wanted to spend lots of time together; we tried to play it cool and pretended we didn't want to, but we always ended up making plans and even alternated weekends making plans to keep the other on their toes. From archery and tree top walking to spa days and weekend retreats, we were together every spare moment we had. As things got serious, our time together was limited and trips were to farther destinations, and eventually visiting family and home towns. A year into it, we had a trial of living together during Star Trek: Discovery Season 2. We found that with a house that has enough space, we lived together quite nicely. So, the time came to decided what we were going to do in the future as Picard started in LA and we were separated once more... this time with no future seasons in Canada to look forward to. The obvious choice was to find a home in Los Angeles and close up shop in Canada. The first house we looked at was in our #1 choice of neighborhood, style of home, and it didn't need any renovations - the room for a pool was a bonus we couldn't refuse. July 2019 we closed on the house and started to make it our home! December 27, 2019 on Main St. U.S.A under the most spectacular fireworks display over Sleeping Beauty's Castle, while Silent Night played and cookie scented fake snow was pumped out of the buildings around us, the question was popped! We always knew we'd have a short engagement and planned to be married in the mountains of Banff, Alberta early summer 2020... but Covid19 had other plans. A month after moving everything from Canada, saying good-bye to friends, and closing up shop, Covid19 hit North America and closed the borders. After waiting it out a while and not having our wedding on June 4th, we have decided to do our legal marriage on June 27, 2020 (6 months from our engagement date) and plan for our Banff trip with personal vows and hand-fasting ceremony when it is safe to travel.
